Weight training v. Training with FORTEX*

OBJECTIVE
To compare the effects of resistance training using machine weights and using FORTEX on upper body muscle performance.

METHOD
30 healthy men who were not already involved in any form of fitness training.

For 8 weeks:

    • some trained with FORTEX, following the recommended product guidelines
    • some trained with regular weights, following guidelines set by the American College of Sports Medicine
    • the rest, the 'control' group, did no weight training at all. RESULTS
